The terms for using this website and its inquiry form.

Before you publish. These terms cover use of the website and form only; the terms of any actual commission or session are set in a separate agreement with the client. Not legal advice — have an attorney review before launch.

1. About these terms

These Terms of Use govern your use of studio-contact.com, operated by Studio Contact LLC, 100 Bogart St, Brooklyn, NY 11206, USA (EIN 81-3498210). By using the site you agree to these terms.

2. What the site is

  1. The site is an online portfolio and a way to send inquiries about commissions, portrait sessions and creative projects.
  2. It does not sell goods or services online. There is no cart, no public price list and no payment processing. Submitting the form is an inquiry, not an order or a binding offer.
  3. Any quote sent in reply is informational. A project is agreed separately, in a form agreed by both parties.

3. Using the form

  1. Provide accurate information that relates to you.
  2. Do not submit unlawful, infringing, abusive or malicious content.
  3. Replies are sent during normal working time; the absence of a reply by any particular date is not an acceptance or rejection of an inquiry.
  4. We may decline to respond to inquiries, in particular those outside the services offered or amounting to unsolicited commercial messages.

4. Intellectual property

  1. All content on the site — text, layout, the brand mark and any artwork shown — is protected by copyright and belongs to Studio Contact LLC or third parties.
  2. You may not copy, distribute or use it commercially without permission.
  3. Ownership and usage rights for commissioned work are set out in the separate project agreement.

5. Disclaimer & liability

The site is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

6. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York and applicable US federal law, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

7. Privacy

Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.

We may update these terms; the current version is always available at this address.
